ELECTRONIC
ART REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PRODUCT ONLY

Adobe Illustrator (preferred),
Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe
Pagemaker/InDesign, QuarkXpress.
We can not accept art created or
saved in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint or PDF files.

Files:
|
.eps, .tiff. Files need to be compressed using Stuffit or Zip. .tiff files should
be saved with no LZW compression. We cannot accept PDF files or RGB
images.
|
| Fonts: |
Convert all type to
curves, paths or outlines (vector art). Include all placed files
along with the screen and printer fonts used in the document.
Avoid serif fonts. We
cannot accept TrueType or PC based fonts.
|
| Resolution/Size: |
900
d.p.i., preferable at 100% of final size. All scanned images must be initially scanned at this
resolution. Lower resolution art "saved as" the
higher resolution will not work.
Lines and imprint need to be at least .5pt thick so it does not
break up or fill in.
|
| Bleeds: |
If art has bleeds, it
needs to bleed past the cuts 3/32".
|
|
Colors: |
Image
should be black and white. Separate
multiple color imprints as spot colors with no trapping.
If a color composite is available, you may also include it for reference.
*All RGB defined colors and files must be converted to CMYK for
4-color process imprints.

| Halftones: |
Halftones must be between
a 5% and 90% screen.
|

|
WHEN EMAILING YOUR ART:
|
1. Fax to (678) 482-0771 a back up copy. We use this for visual
comparison to confirm that corruption (such as fonts being changed or
dropped) didn't occur during email transmission. |
2. Use the purchase order/reference number we assigned the order as
the subject line of your email. This number can be found in the upper left
corner of the order proof we emailed the primary contact person. Doing so
assures the art file can be quickly and correctly matched with the order. |
